Prague metro lines:

The main tourist attractions are easily reached. You can be in Wenceslas Square in twenty minutes, Charles Bridge in thirty minutes. The local trams will take you directly to the splendours of Prague Castle showing you many more wonderful sites en route.

Trams and buses can also take you to visit the night life of Prague. All through the night there is a full transport system in operation so getting home is easy. Taxis will also be found in the centre if you prefer.

Note that trams and metros indicate their direction as follows: trams and buses have a schedule and list of stops on a board at the stop; for the metro there is an indicator board between the two platforms which shows the stations on the route.

By air to Prague

Prague's airport is served by most major airlines. There is a frequent Czech Airlines (CSA) shuttle bus to the centre. This arrives in Namesti Republiky close to the metro station. There is also a Czech public transport bus from the airport to the metro station Dejvicka and tickets for this are available from a coin operated machine in the terminal building. If you require collection from the airport this can be provided.

Most trains arrive at either Hlavni Nadrazi or Nadrazi Holesovice. Both these stations are on the metro line C. If you require collection from the train station this can be provided.

By car to Prague

There is parking in the area if you travel here by car. (Please ask for details if you require directions from the UK).
